Born in a country who’s motto
reads “ Out of Many One People “, Jamaica, to a cosmetologist
mother half Indian from India and a Jamaican politician
father of Scottish descent, hence the Highland clan name Robertson
(the barony of Struan, members of the standing council of Scottish
chiefs) one of the oldest families in Scotland, being the sole remaining branch of the Royal House
which occupied the throne of Scotland during the 11th and 12th centuries, the Robertsons of Struan,
who's clan motto is "Glory is the Reward of Valour".

Georgianna came to New York
at age 12, with her mother and 2 brothers. She graduated
from High School as an honor-student, even receiving an award
for being one of the best students in the state of N.Y. Georgianna
went on to study at Hunter College in N.Y., before she was discovered
and took upon the challenge of becoming a likewise successful international
model.

Georgianna Robertson
personifies the quintessential
modern woman of the
new millenium . She is the new multicultural,
multiracial educated modern young woman with style, grace and
class and with a health and socially conscious and responsible
persona. Her humanitarian and charitable work going back to
her school days, when she was tutoring younger children in her spare
time, to today i.e. visiting Croatian-war-orphans Christmas ’96 or
lecturing South-African children in the townships on education, Aids,
self-esteem etc. for example.

New in Paris, for her first fashion-show
none other than Yves Saint Laurent
chose Georgianna for his 30th anniversary celebration
show at the Paris Opera Bastille and they have worked together
ever since, not only for his Haute Couture and Ready-to-wear
collections, but Georgianna also shot the worldwide YSL JAZZ
cologne campaign with J.-B. Mondino. Due to her magical ability
to bring clothes alive she naturally became one of Mr.Saint Laurent’s
all time favorites, she was of course prominently featured at
both his French Soccer World Cup show and his final show at the Beaubourg
in Paris.

Georgianna’s first cover followed
right after, making her mark by becoming the first model
of color ever on the cover of French
Madame Figaro , apart from having been on
more than 60 other European and American publications, shot
by most of the top photographers in the world. Georgianna also
became the first woman of color on the prestigious double Christmas
/ New Years issue of French VOGUE and only the 3rd ever, on the cover
of French VOGUE , after Iman and
Naomi. Also American TOWN & COUNTRY
chose Georgianna to grace their cover, becoming one
of their best selling covers ever.

From fashion-shows for YSL,
CHANEL, DIOR and Ralph
Lauren , over billboard-campaigns in Times Square
and numerous campaigns and commercials from YSL Jazz cologne,
Courreges over Ralph Lauren Jeans to L’Oreal and Maybelline
cosmetics to the ground-breaking first ever worldwide print- and
film campaign by CARTIER using a person and CARTIER
also choosing Georgianna as one of the 21 most beautiful women
in America in their 150 Years anniversary book and being rated
one of the 25 sexiest women in America by a top men’s magazine.
Popping the cork on a worldwide campaign for a prestigious
LVMH product, shot by famed photographer
Patrick Demarchelier. Georgianna was the first woman of color to be the Face and Ambassador for the L’OREAL brand LANCOME cosmetics, along side Ines Sastre and Elizabeth Jagger. Under the direction of Lancôme’s image-maker and creative director, famed make-up artist Fred Farrugia, Georgianna signed a multi-year contract for an undisclosed amount and was featured in such notable campaigns as “Purple Rain” and "Color ID" for example.

Even making her film debut, when Director Robert Altman cast
her for the lead role as the onscreen-wife of Rupert Everett in his movie
“Pret-a-Porter”(“Ready-to-wear”) Her 2nd project was the award-winning short-film
“Save the Rabbit”, co-written by Jean-Marie Duprez and Danny Aiello, where
Georgianna co-stared with Teri Garr, Gerard Darmon, Danny Aiello and Tom
Novembre.

Since then she has amongst other
projects done "Un Nero per Casa", a modern version in Italian of the film classic
“Guess who is coming to dinner” produced and directed by
the Italian star from screen and stage, Gigi Proietti
, for which she had to learn Italian in 3 weeks!

The latest movie project “Double Zero”
by French Director Gerard Pires (“Taxi”) is a female lead-role
playing a machine-gun fighting villain along side French comedy stars
Eric Judor & Ramzy Bedia and also Edouard Baer. To be released first in France in June.

Also Music-videos like the award-winning
Ini Kamoze “Here Comes the Hotstepper”
and Stevie Wonder’s “When Robbins
Will Sing” to TV-work like guest-hosting and VJ-ing for MTV’s
“The Grind” and “MTV’s Most Wanted”, correspondent work for “E!”-Television’s
“Fashion-File” for whom she was able to get exclusive interviews
with stars like James Brown, Rupert Everett and Toni
Braxton. Apart from having appeared and been profiled on
countless TV entertainment shows, from BBC’s “Good Morning
Show” to Gottschalk. Georgianna has also hosted several events,
like the John Lennon International song writing contest in N.Y.
and Mikhail Gorbatschev’s MEN’S WORLD AWARDS in Vienna Nov.

GEORGIANNA ROBERTSON, now a registered Trademark. It is now being
successfully distributed by ALBA MODA.

Today Georgianna has a home in New York. Although her pursuits
do not leave much spare time, whenever she can, she loves
to go back to Jamaica and spend time with her family. When she
is not overseas, Georgianna is back in New York enjoying the
vitality of N.Y. City.
